同步提升应用型英语人才语言与翻译能力的途径研究

Study on the Ways to Improve the Language and Translation Ability of Applied English Talents Simultaneously

语言能力是翻译能力形成的根基,亦是提高翻译能力的先决条件,二者具有密不可分的关系,对大学生成才和可持续发展的影响不言而喻。随着社会对应用型翻译人才的需求日益增长,复合型职业翻译人才炙手可热。在高校翻译教学过程中,应同步培养学生的语言与翻译能力,使学生在具备良好语言能力的基础上,提升自由运用能力和转换能力,最终成为合格的专业翻译工作者。本文基于应用型英语人才培养的内涵,探索了同步提升翻译专业学生语言与翻译能力的五大实践举措,以期对翻译人才培养起到积极推动作用。

Language competence is the foundation of translation ability and a prerequisite for improving translation ability. They have an inseparable relationship, which has an obvious influence on the success and sustainable development of college students. With the increasing demand of applied translators, the complex professional translators are in hot demand. In the process of translation teaching in colleges and universities, students’ language and translation ability should be cultivated simultaneously, so that students can improve their free use ability and conversion ability on the basis of good language ability,and finally become qualified professional translators. Based on the connotation of the training of applied English talents, this paper explores five practical measures to improve the translation ability of translation majors in order to promote the training of translation talents.
