Effectiveness and Modeling of College English Class Supported by VR

虚拟现实(VR)技术为高校英语课堂提供了基于多感觉通道的语境,促进英语学习的高阶迁移。从学习动机、社交互动、情绪调节、归因干预等方面可以分析出VR技术应用于课堂所能产生的实效,但是目前VR支持下课堂模式设计普遍存在一些问题。据此问题导向,可以按照课堂单元的五个阶段,以学习策略和语言习得为核心,建构课堂模式,解析任务。

The technology of virtual reality provides a context based on multi-sensory channel for college English class, promoting high level transfer in English learning. From the aspects of learning motivation,social interaction, emotion regulation, and attribution intervention, the effectiveness of VR technology in the class can be analyzed. Presently, there are some widespread problems in designing class mode supported by VR. Guided by those problems, class unit being divided into five stages, with learning strategies and language acquisition as the core, class model can be better constructed and study tasks be better solved.
