Protection and Development of Shougang Industrial Heritage from the Perspective of"Place-event"Theory

随着产业结构的调整,见证了北京城市发展与变迁的百年钢铁企业首钢于2010年完成整体搬迁,对其留下的首钢工业遗址进行保护与开发是北京城市更新与发展的重要内容,也是对首钢精神的保护与传承。当前首钢工业遗产的保护与开发还存在着首钢精神不够突出、缺少对独特场所及事件的利用及首钢工业特色不够鲜明的问题,可以依托“场所—事件”理论,通过挖掘重要事件、开发多重感官体验、利用“双奥”背景及开发特色文创产品的方式对其进行保护与开发,最终助力首钢精神的传播。

With the adjustment of the industrial structure,Shougang Group which witnessed the development and changes of Beijing,completed its relocation in 2010.The protection and development of Shougang industrial heritage is the important content of Beijing’s urban renewal and development,the protection and development of Shougang industrial heritage can also make the shougang spirit get better protection and inheritance.Currently,the problems exist in the protection and development of Shougang industrial heritage are:the non-prominent of shougang spirit,the lack of use of unique places and events and shougang industrial features are not clear.Relying on the"place-event"theory,the protection and development of Shougang industrial heritage in the future can be done through digging the important events,developing multi-sensory experience,using the background of two Olympic games and developing characteristic cultural and creative products,so as to help spread Shougang’s spirit.
