Three Understandings during the Modernization of Excellent Traditional Cultures

文化自信是“四个自信”中最根本的力量,而推动中华优秀传统文化的创造性转化和创新性发展是新时代增强文化自信的必然选择。在“两创”的推进过程中,需要对三个方面的问题有一个正确的认知。这首先包括对中国传统文化内容的辩证认知,提炼优秀文化基因并加以现代性转化;其次,是对中华优秀传统文化与西方外来文化关系的精准认知,在多元文化的交流互鉴中坚定中华优秀传统文化自信;最后,是对中华优秀传统文化现代价值的科学认知,既合理评判其现代价值,又谨防“普世价值”侵害的风险。只有基于以上三重正确认知,才能为中华优秀传统文化的创造性转化和创新性发展筑牢基础、廓清道路。

Cultural self-confidence is the most fundamental force in the“Four Self-confidence”,and promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese excellent traditional culture is the inevitable choice to enhance cultural self-confidence in the new era.In the process of promoting“Two Innovations”,we need to have a correct understanding of three aspects.Firstly,it includes the dialectical cognition of the content of Chinese traditional culture,refining the excellent cultural gene and transforming it into modernity;Secondly,it is an accurate understanding of the relationship between excellent Chinese traditional culture and Western foreign culture,and strengthen the confidence of excellent Chinese traditional culture in multi-cultural exchanges and mutual learning;Finally,it is the scientific cognition of the modern value of Chinese excellent traditional culture,which not only reasonably evaluates its modern value,but also beware of the danger of infringement of“Universal Value”.Only based on the above three correct cognition can we lay a solid foundation and clear the way for the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese excellent traditional culture.
