The determination of brain death requires standardized training for practitioners.The study introduces the experience of building quality control team for brain death determination in Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology,including the basic conditions,organizational structure and working mode of quality control team.At present,the hospital has a complete expert team,technical team and quality control team,with 39professional and technical team members.The number of brain death determination cases ranks the top in China,and the qualified rate of all quality control indicators is high.Brain death determination should take the hospital as the basic unit,build an organizational structure to ensure the completion of quality control work,form an efficient and rigorous work flow,so as to ensure the smooth progress of brain death determination and quality control.
