摘要
The open access English-language international journal Fundamental Research(FR),sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC),has now been officially inaugurated.The motivation to initiate a new journal was to report on the cutting-edge fundamen-tal research being carried out in the world.NSFC is one of the world’s largest funding agencies for fundamental research,and undoubtedly,the largest funding body for basic research in China.
