AIS(Automatic Identification system)船舶自动识别系统在甚高频(VHF)的频段上向装备有AIS设备的船舶和岸基机构连续自动发射本船静态信息、动态信息、航次相关信息和安全相关数据信息。这些丰富的AIS数据为简化船舶信息交流、保障海上交通安全、保护海洋环境、协助海上交通事故调查、航道规划等提供了有利的数据支撑。

AIS(Automatic Identification System) is the device that continuously and automatically transmit ship’s static information, dynamic information, voyageinformation and safety information to other ships and shore-based stations equipped with AIS in VHF frequency band. These abundant AIS data provide favorable support for simplifying ship information exchange,ensuring marine traffic safety,protecting marine environment,marine traffic accident investigation and channeldesign. This paper comprehensively analyzes the application of AIS data on ship and shore management departments.
