Education in pen calligraphy not only helps students improve their handwriting to be more impressive,but also involves moral education in the process of teaching.The beauty of pen calligraphy may cultivate students in the aspect of values,aesthetics and overall quality.For the reference of calligraphy teachers,this paper analyzes the educational function of pen calligraphy from the perspectives of quality-oriented education,personality education and the foster of aesthetics.Analysis on the results of actual teaching application is also provided.
