唐诗漫画的多模态功能文体分析框架 被引量:3

A Framework for Multimodal Functional Stylistic Analysis of Comics of Tang Poetry

摘要 本文融合系统功能语言学、诗学、漫画设计学理论,构建唐诗漫画的多模态功能文体分析框架,并在此框架内示范性地开展个案分析。研究表明:诗的“触景生情”和“以文为诗”的意象思维、绝律诗体和“起承转合”章法等更适用于四格漫画改编;漫画可有效解决诗中参与者与环境抽象概括化且两者之间界线模糊、人本精神因参与人省略而无法体现的问题,使诗中隐化、概括化和精确化的过程意义显化、具体化和形象生动化,并合理运用对话式白话文取得良好的交际效应。本研究既有助于“读图时代”的唐诗漫画改编与评鉴,又尝试为多模态功能文体学提供了跨学科研究路径。 Based on systemic functional linguistics,poetics and comics art,this paper proposes a comprehensive framework for a multimodal functional stylistic analysis of the comics of Tang poetry and conducts a case study within this framework.It is found that among poetic images,verses and structures,the emotion-or event-centred Quatrains or Octaves with the structure of “Introduction,Development,Contrast,and Conclusion” are more suitably adapted for four-panel comics.Given the distinct modal affordances,comic pictures can solve the problems that in poetic texts the participants and the circumstances have a blurred boundary and a high-level abstraction and that human participants show an elliptical tendency which leads to the concealment of poems’ humanistic concerns.Comic pictures can fulfill different complementary roles to the process in poetic texts,from ellipsis through generality to specificity and vividness.Modern Chinese in dialogical style can be harnessed for specific communicative purposes.This research not only contributes to the comic adaptation of Tang poetry and the evaluation of these comics,which should be significant in the era of the dominance of image,but also facilitates the interdisciplinary nature of multimodal functional stylistics.
