GUO Shaoyu′s theory of Fu involves many issues,such as the origin and evolution of Fu,the relationship between poetry and Fu,the literariness of Fu and the status of Fu in literary history.He has got a modern academic vision that is not easy to see in the academic circles of the Republic of China.The general characteristics are as follows:while adhering to the original research tradition of classical literature,the concept of evolutionary history is introduced into the study of the origin and evolution of Fu,so that the criticism of Fu is partially brought into the track of modern theory;Treating the style of Fu in terms of modern linguistics,this paper makes an epoch-making judgment on the unique literariness of this style;He took the lead in affirming the position of Fu in the history of literature.GUO Shaoyu′s theory of Fu can keep positive and explore new,and the theory is objective,which has contributed to the preliminary construction of the pattern of modern Fu style criticism,and has a profound impact on the research of Fu style literature since the Republic of China for nearly a century.
