伙伴国监管限制对美国保险服务出口的影响分析

Analysis of the Impact of Partner Country Regulatory Restrictions on U.S. Insurance Services Exports

美国服务贸易总量世界第一,保险是为数不多的服务贸易逆差部门之一,保险市场的国际扩张必不可免。本文构建拓展贸易引力模型用以研究影响美国保险服务出口额的核心变量。重点考察美国32个贸易伙伴国监管规则对美国保险服务出口的影响。研究结果表明,GDP、人口、地理距离等传统因素仍是影响美国保险服务出口的重要因素。双边自由贸易协定的签订会提高双边的服务贸易量。相比监管差异性贸易壁垒,直接的监管限制是当前影响美国服务出口的主要壁垒。

The United States ranks first in the world in terms of total service trade,and insurance is one of the few service trade deficit sectors.International expansion of the insurance market is inevitable.This paper constructs an expanded trade gravity model to study the core variables that affect the export value of US insurance services.The focus is on the impact of the regulatory rules of the 32 U.S.trading partners on the export of U.S.insurance services.The results show that traditional factors such as GDP,population,and geographic distance are still important factors affecting the export of US insurance services.The signing of bilateral free trade agreements will increase the volume of bilateral trade in services.Compared with regulatory differential trade barriers,direct regulatory restrictions are currently the main barriers affecting U.S.service exports.
