基于语料库的《了不起的盖茨比》三译本对比研究

A Corpus-Based Contrastive Analysis on Three Chinese Translations of The Great Gatsby

基于自建的语料库,从源语透过效应、目标语读者关照、女性翻译特征3个角度探讨巫宁坤、李继宏、张思婷3位译者的《了不起的盖茨比》译本的风格差异。研究发现:巫译受源语透过效应影响最大,译文中的晦涩表达较多;李译采用长篇导读和详尽注释,目标语读者关照程度最高,有利于中文读者理解译文;张译女性主义翻译特征最明显,脏话的委婉处理次数最多。

This is a corpus-based study on the stylistic differences among the three Chinese translations of The Great Gatsby by Li Jihong,Wu Ningkun,and Zhang Siting from three perspectives of source language shining-through effect,concern for target language readers,and feminist translation theory.It is found that:Wu Ningkun′s translation has been mostly affected by source language shining-through effect and many obscure expressions;Li Jihong′s translation adopts detailed reading guidance and annotation and has the highest level of concern for target language readers,which is conducive for Chinese readers to understand the text;Zhang Siting′s translation has obvious characteristics of feminist translation,especially in her euphemistic translation of taboo words.
