Corrosion leakage occurred in the carbon steel tanks that stored ammonium sulfate wastewater in a company. After checking and analyzing the causes of corrosion, an alternative scheme of overall lining vinyl ester resin FRP anti-corrosion was put forward;After 4 years of practice, the reliability of vinyl ester resin FRP is demonstrated, and the anti-corrosion problem of carbon steel tanks for ammonium sulfate wastewater in complex environment is effectively solved. In addition, the technical requirements and quality control points of vinyl ester resin FRP in the construction of carbon steel storage tank are summarized, so as to provide reference for the construction of similar projects.
