The transformation of local colleges and universities into application-oriented universities is a significant decision and deployment of the state.The transformation motivation of local high-level application-oriented colleges and universities mainly comes from the endogenous power of their own development needs,and their action logic can be regarded as the process of obtaining regulative legitimacy,normative and cognitive legitimacy.The reference path of transformation of local colleges and universities to application type includes stimulating local colleges and universities’ endogenous power and realizing independent transformation and sustainable development;promoting innovation of school-running mode and breaking through the shackles of system inertia of traditional universities;improving contributions to the local society and promoting the deep integration of school-local and school-enterprise cooperation;enhancing teachers’ identification and participation and ensuring the sustainability of the endogenous power of application-oriented development.
