This paper introduces the application of SIMATIC PCS 7 in Maerz lime kilns,including the designs of centralized manager system and distributed control system,in addition the actual software application. In particular,the integrated control concept of sharing redundant servers with foreign parties can be used as a reference for the design of domestic Maerz lime kiln contractors and customers.
