An introduction was made on the detailed layout of two dam site schemes of Panlong Reservoir in the Longyun Irrigation Zone of Yulin City. The upper and lower dam site schemes were compared in respects of investment saving, layout rationality, construction convenience etc, based on which the upper dam site scheme was recommended. After the completion of this project, the problem of water resources in this region will be solved as a whole.
