摘要
为探究现代信息技术对产业空间分布的影响,基于新经济地理模型,以中国31个省区市面板数据为研究样本,运用普通最小二乘法(OLS)线性回归、工具变量以及门槛非线性回归等计量方法,研究互联网对制造业集聚的影响方向与路径。研究发现:互联网除了对制造业具有直接的吸引作用外,还通过提高知识溢出效应与市场潜力间接促进制造业集聚;互联网对制造业集聚的影响受经济发展水平与人力资本水平的调节和制约;此外,互联网对制造业会由于地理区位的不同而呈现出不同集聚效应。
In order to explore the impact of modern information technology on industrial spatial distribution,based on the new economic geography model,taking the panel data of 31 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government(hereinafter referred to as"provinces")in China as the research sample,this paper studies the impact direction and path of the Internet on manufacturing agglomeration by using OLS linear regression,instrumental variable and threshold nonlinear regression.The research finds that the Internet not only has a direct attraction to the manufacturing industry,but also indirectly promotes the agglomeration of manufacturing industry by improving the knowledge spillover effect and market potential;the impact of the Internet on manufacturing agglomeration is regulated and restricted by the level of economic development and human capital;in addition,the Internet will show different agglomeration effects on the manufacturing industry due to different geographical locations.
