when COVID-19 brings the world to a standstill,and landmark events such as the renaming of Facebook to META,concepts such as the digital virtual have been fully upgraded to a meta-universe,and online 3D and virtual reality have become a new strategy to return to the heated debate of art production.Since the 1980s,the site of curatorial production has gradually expanded to the internet space,and its focus has expanded from objects to data preservation,human-computer interaction and the construction of dynamic networked systems.When digital curation is no longer just a simulation of a mirror image of the physical world but a fiction using virtual reality,it is no longer just a matter of traditional curatorial choices of organisation,but of the technical forms that need to be involved in its making to create it,which encompasses the applied/technical level and in the content/governance using the form and function of digital space and interfaces as a starting point for exploring three-dimensional virtual forms,and also referring to the rules of video gametics and fictional framework.The text provides an overview of virtual digital curation as an application in non-gaming,creative,functionally oriented 3D virtual art making,digital exhibitions,rules and fictional contexts that will provide revealing insights into the design and expression of this new medium.
