Four Notes on Proofreading of Gaoseng Zhuan

南朝梁慧皎《高僧传》是中古时期流传至今的一部保存较为完整的僧传文献,1992年由中华书局出版,汤用彤校注、汤一玄整理的《高僧传》在佛教史研究、文学研究乃至语言学研究中得到广泛应用,然其仍有诸多可勘之处。文章通过搜集材料并比勘异文,对其中四则条目提出商榷和修改意见。

Gaoseng Zhuan by Hui Jiao of the Southern Liang Dynasty,as a relatively complete document of the monk's biography that has been passed down in the Middle Ages,Tang Yongtong and Tang Yixuan′s Gaoseng Zhuan published by Zhonghua Book Company in 1992 is widely used in the study of Buddhist history,literature and even linguistics,but there are still many points to be explored.This paper discusses and revises four of the items by collecting materials and comparing different versions.
