碳中和已成为全球共识,矿业企业应积极响应减碳规制,制定合理的减碳策略。文章梳理了矿业行业发展与减碳规制的演化,指出矿产资源需求与碳排放间关系密切,矿业企业应对减碳规制将不可避免。减碳规制将促进矿产需求的转变,间接影响矿业行业发展。由于全球矿业发展不均衡和不同矿种碳排放特点,减碳规制对矿业的区域影响和不同矿种的矿业企业影响不均衡。减碳目标下,矿业企业应采取如下策略:(1)积极响应减碳规制,提高竞争力;(2)密切关注下游企业需求变化,调整自身产能;(3)积极与政府沟通,为政府制定行业政策提供依据;(4)制定适应区域和国别特点的投资策略;(5)考虑矿种发展潜力的投资布局;(6)加大对新能源及新技术的投资力度,改善能源结构。

Carbon neutrality has become a global consensus,and mining companies should actively respond to carbon reduction regulations and formulate reasonable carbon reduction strategies.The article reviews the development of the mining industry and the evolution of carbon reduction regulation and points out that there is a close relationship between the demand for mineral resources and carbon emissions,and it is inevitable for mining companies to respond to carbon reduction regulation.Carbon reduction regulation will promote the shift of mineral demand and indirectly affect the development of the mining industry.Due to the unbalanced development of the global mining industry and the characteristics of carbon emissions of various minerals,the regional impact of carbon reduction regulation on the mining industry and the effects of mining enterprises of various minerals are uneven.Under the carbon reduction target,mining enterprises should adopt the following strategies:(1)Actively respond to the carbon reduction regulation to improve their competitiveness;(2)Pay close attention to the changes in demand of downstream enterprises and adjust their production capacity;(3)Actively communicate with the government to provide a basis for the government to formulate industry policies;(4)Formulate investment strategies that adapt to regional and country-specific characteristics;(5)Investment layout considering the development potential of minerals;(6)Increase investment in new energy and new technologies to improve the energy structure.
