感染后咳嗽在临床颇为常见,病程长短不一,严重影响患者身心健康。西医目前可短期应用抗组胺药、镇咳药、减充血剂等,但部分患者收效欠佳。张念志教授认为感染后咳嗽归于中医“风咳”范畴,临床本着“急则治标,缓则治本”的原则,从“祛邪”“补虚”两方面治疗此类疾病,效果显著。

Post-infectious Cough(PIC) is quite common in clinic, and duration of the disease varies, which seriously affects the physical and mental health of patients. For a short period of time, Western medicine can currently use antitussives, antihistamines, decongestants, etc. But the results are not satisfactory for some patients. Professor Zhang Nianzhi believes that PIC belongs to the category of “Wind cough” in traditional Chinese medicine. Based on the principle of “treatment in acute condition and radical treatment in chronic case” theory, he treats such diseases from two aspects of “Qu Xie” and “Bu Xu”, which is quiet effective.
