摘要
图文叙事是后现代文学书写的诗意表达,图文形成叙事的“褶子”,“褶子”的折叠与展开使意义不断生成。加拿大后现代诗人科恩和美国后现代作家冯内古特在作品中收录了多幅手绘图,图文的流动打破了文学单一的文本性,离散了意义的“中心”,使意义处于不确定、异质和杂糅状态中;同时,人物及读者的身体也借助图文的褶子,从严格的社会规约与管控中逃逸出来,展现了生存的多种可能性;而传统的历史及死亡概念,也在图文的缠绕中消解,万物沉浸在模糊的混沌和愉快的生成之中。图文叙事的“褶子”演绎了后现代文学书写的开放性、多元性和生成性。
Graphic narration is the poetic expression of postmodern literary writing.Images and words form the narrative“folds,”in which folding and opening put meaning into a process of a continuous becoming.Leonard Cohen,a Canadian postmodern poet,and Kurt Vonnegut,an American postmodern writer,employed many hand-drawn images in their works.The flowing between images and words breaks the monotony of textuality in literature,de-center the meaning,and render meaning into a state of uncertainty,heterogeneity,and miscellany.Meanwhile,with the narrative“folds,”characters’and readers’bodies flee from the strict social conventions and regulations,revealing various possibilities of being.Furthermore,traditional concepts such as“history”and“death”are deconstructed in the intertwining of images and words.All things are immersed in the vague ambiguity and cheerful becoming.Graphic narration folds illustrate and expound the openness,diversity and becoming of postmodern literary writing.
