摘要
空虚形象和主题在现当代文学中大量涌现,“空虚”概念也经历了一系列的延展和丰富:在从神秘主义神学阶段到当代意义的嬗变过程中,由于神秘主义神学、哲学、佛教禅宗、政治批评和文学批评等的贡献,空虚的含义包括了创造与反创造、虚无与充盈、堕落与净化、疾病与康复、苦难与新生、贫乏与统一、反抗与重建以及创伤与复原等对立性的内涵。到了现代,此概念逐渐演变为一种东西合璧的意义,因而成为一些批评家和作家对抗理性中心主义、恐怖主义、种族主义和后殖民主义等的有力武器。
“Void” has been sprouting in contemporary literature,both as a theme and a literary device.The concept “void” has developed from a mystical theological idea to a critical term with various contemporary connotations.Interpreted against the context of mystical theology,philosophy,Buddhist Zen,political criticism and literature criticism,“void” lies between Oriental and Western culture,implying both creation and de-creation,emptiness and fullness,degeneration and purification,illness and rehabilitation,suffering and rebirth,absence and union,rebellion and reconstruction as well as trauma and recovery.Therefore,“void” plays a significant role in resisting rationalism,terrorism,racism and post-colonialism.
