“Black Swan”event stirred the tanker market in February.Middle East,the U.S.and Brazil were expected to increase oil export to fill in the supply gap,which would generate valid long-haul shipping demand.Crude tanker sector shifted from depression at the beginning of the new year and rates kept climbing up.On the demand end,China and India decreased their demand under the mixed influence of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the holidays;Europe opened restock window and supported Atlantic shipping demand.Product tanker sector witnessed growing rates while European and American refineries continued to increase their utilization rates.
