疫情和地缘政治危机引发市场担忧全球供应链中断,粮食贸易商积极采购备货,巴拿马型船与灵便型船市场由此获得支撑。3月4日起BDI连续6个交易日上涨至3个月以来的新高2718点。后因巴西暴雨导致铁矿石出货量减少,好望角型船市场下跌拖累BDI于31日回落至2358点。3月BDI均值2464点,同比上涨22.1%,环比上涨34.3%。一季度BDI均值2041点,同比上涨17.4%。
While the pandemic and geopolitical crisis have caused concerns for disruptions of the global supply chain,grain traders are actively purchasing for preparedness which accordingly has supported the Panamax and Handymax sectors.Starting from 4 March,BDI rose for six consecutive days and reached 2,718 points,the highest in the past three months.Heavy rains in Brazil later hindered the shipment of iron ores,triggering the Capesize sector to fall and drag down BDI consequently to 2,358 points on 31 March.BDI average was 2,464 points in March,growing 22.1%YoY and 34.3%MoM.In Q12022,BDI average was 2,041 points,up 17.4%YoY.
