基于CBI教学理念的神经内科专业英语教学实践和体会 被引量:1

摘要 医学专业英语是每个医生都要面对的难题,因医生临床工作繁忙,需要学习的内容多,如何利用有限的时间达到较好的学习效果,是我们必须思考的事。而神经内科专业疑难疾病多,涉及到范围广,随时需要查阅文献帮助临床诊断,因此医学专业英语学习迫在眉睫。CBI(content-based instruction)教学是以内容为主导的教学理念,教学内容依托某一专业知识或主题进行,在各个学科均有应用。在神经内科教学中引入CBI教学模式,利用英文指南和个案报告作为学习资料,结合教学查房,实践表明以中英文指南为主要教学内容,同时利用个案报告和教学查房进行实践的CBI教学法,得到科室医生的一致好评。结果显示该方法不仅能显著提高全体医师的疾病诊疗水平,同时能提高医师的专业英语水平,说明英语指南联合个案报告的CBI教学可以作为一个学习范本在医院应用。 Medical English is a difficult problem for every doctor since doctors are busy in clinical work and have a lot to manage or learn.How to use limited time to achieve better learning effect is something we must think about.Moreover,reviewing the literature is mostly necessary due to complication of the diseases in central nervous system(CNS),so learning of neurology professional English is an urgent task for clinicians.Content-based instruction(CBI)is a content-oriented teaching philosophy,and the teaching content relies on a certain professional knowledge or theme in various disciplines.Our department has combined the study of Chinese and English guides with case reports followed up by teaching rounds based on the CBI teaching method.The results showed that this method can not only improve the level of disease diagnosis but also improve the professional English level of resident practitioners.It shows that the English guides together with case reports’based on CBI teaching method can be widespread as a learning model in hospitals.
