姚鹓雏新加坡文学活动考述——以《国民日报》为中心

Research into Yao Yuanchu’s Literary Activities in Singapore, with The Kok Min Yit Poh as the Centre

姚鹓雏于1918年4月底到8月底在新加坡《国民日报》任职,担任编辑,在副刊中刊发了他的文学作品,囊括了诗歌、词、小说、戏剧、散文、随笔等,以姚鹓雏旧作居多,在新加坡第二次刊发,部分作品属于在新加坡第一次创作,在大陆出版的《姚鹓雏文集》中并不见。本文就姚鹓雏在新加坡的文学活动展开分析,统计《国民日报》中姚氏作品的数量和篇目,爬疏旧作和新作的数量,研究姚鹓雏为促进新马文学发展做出的贡献。

From the end of April to that of August, 1918, Yao Yuanchu worked at The Kok Min Yit Poh as the editor and, in its supplement, published his literary work that includes poetry, ci, fiction, plays, essays and with-pen essays, with a majority of them his older work, published for a second time in Singapore, and part of the work created for the first time therein, rarely seen in A Collection of Works by Yao Yuanchu, published on the mainland. This is an article that conducts an analysis of his literary activities in Singapore, providing statistics on the number of works and the table of contents for his works published in The Kok Min Yit Poh, sorting out the number of old work as compared with the new work, and finding out about his contribution to the development of Malaysian-Singaporean literature.
