Western Economics is a basic compulsory course for students majoring in economics and management in colleges and univer-sities.Integrating ideological and political elements into the teaching of Western Economics is not only an urgent need in the new era and new situation,but also an inevitable choice based on the characteristics of Western Economics.In the practice of teaching reform,integrating ideological and political elements into the teaching of Western Economics and optimizing the teaching design can improve the effectiveness of ideological and political teaching reform of Western Economics and implement the fundamental task of“teaching+educating”.
