A Summary of the Climate of Guangdong Province in 2021

摘要 2021年广东平均气温23.0℃,较常年偏高1.1℃,为1951年有气象纪录以来最高;平均高温日数42.9 d,较常年偏多25.4 d,创历史新高。平均降水量1358 mm,较常年偏少24%,为历史第5少。“龙舟水”偏少,但降水极端性强,5月31日惠州龙门龙华镇3 h降水量400.9 mm破广东历史极值。初台偏晚,有2个台风登陆广东,较常年偏少1.7个,有4个台风影响广东,台风影响程度总体偏轻。温高雨少致阶段性气象干旱严重。年初、年尾寒潮影响,降温显著。广东灰霾日数继续维持较低水平。2021年,广东总体天气气候特征是“温高雨少登陆台风少,阶段性气象干旱造成严重影响”。2021年广东气候年景偏差。 In 2021, the annual mean temperature of Guangdong province was 23.0℃, 1.1 ℃ higher than the average and the highest since its meteorological record began in 1951. The average number of high-temperature days is 42.9 d, 25.4 d more than normal and setting a historical high. The average amount of precipitation is 1 358 mm, 24% lower than normal and marking a fifth historical low. Hard rains were relatively little in late May and early June but with high extremeness-a total of 400.9 mm of rain poured to the town of Longhua at Longmen, Huizhou within just three hours on May 31, breaking the historical extreme for the province. The initial typhoon of the year made a late visit and there were just two typhoons making landfall on the province, 1.7 typhoons less than the average, and four typhoons affected Guangdong, having little influence. The temperature was so high and the precipitation was so little that concentrated periods of heavy meteorological drought were caused. Waves of cold air were significant at both the beginning and the end of the year, decreasing temperature significantly. The number of hazy days remained at a relatively low level across the province. In 2021, the overall characteristics of the weather and climate in Guangdong can be summarized as “the temperature was high, the precipitation was little and there were few landfall-making typhoons, and meteorological droughts resulted in serious consequences for some concentrated periods of the year”. In general, the climatic prospect of Guangdong was bad in 2021.
