The three functions of nodular iron pipe were described. The production conditions(including auxiliary materials and molds,production equipment) and production process(including process design,mold design,modeling process,and main process parameters)of vacuum process casting exported nodular iron pipe were introduced. The production results showed that the castings fully met the design requirements of the drawings,and the surface finish of the castings was 1 to 2 levels higher than casting made by lost foam.
