“程门立雪”的故事告诉人们:在求学路上,只有虚心才会不断获得进步,只有礼貌才会得到他人的肯定。宋朝时,杨时通过了科举考试成为一名进士。他放弃了做官的机会,只想钻研学问。一开始,杨时跑到河南颍昌拜程颢为师。程颢是理学大家,杨时向他学到了很多知识。
Yang Shi of the Song Dynasty didn’t want to be an official after he passed the highest 1)imperial examination.He just wanted to 2)concentrate on the 3)academic research.At the beginning,he took Cheng Hao,a Neo-Confucianist as his master in Ying Chang,Henan,and learned a lot from him.
