The rapid development of new industries in China is facing great challenges in talents.Industrial faculties jointly built by university-enterprise cooperation is an important way for local application-oriented universities to cultivate skilled and innovative high-quality application-oriented talents suitable for the development of new industries,and the way to support the high-quality and innovative development of the new-era economy.Some local application-oriented undergraduate universities and international and domestic first-class enterprises have taken the lead in establishing industrial faculties and accumulate rich experience in running schools.During the process of constructing“College of Semiconductor Optoelectronics Industry”,School of Science in Heihe University can provide reference for constructing industrial faculties in alike colleges in terms of construction objectives,construction strategies and improvement methods.
