摘要
为提升虚拟仿真建设中三维模型导入虚幻引擎的效率,对obj、fbx、gltf、udatasmith 4种三维数据交换格式进行分析和测试,根据项目实际需要进行优选。介绍4种格式的优缺点,以Windows系统自带的perfmon软件为工具,记录将3D max文件向数据交换格式进行转换过程及数据交换格式导入UE4过程。最后,结合实际项目情况,进行数据交换格式选择。实验结果表明udatasmith在转换效率、操作便捷度上有明显优势,该数据格式适用于不需要其他贴图绘制软件参与并反复进行模型修改和替换的项目,可以极大程度提升开发效率。
To improve the efficiency of importing 3D models into Unreal Engine (Unreal Engine 4,UE4 for short),four 3D data exchange formats,obj,fbx,gltf,and udatasmith,were analyzed and tested,then optimized according to the actual needs of the project.Firstly,this paper introduces the advantages and disadvantages of the four formats.Secondly,taking Perfmon software of windows system as the tool,Finally,combined with the actual project situation,the data exchange format is selected.The experimental results show that udatasmith has obvious advantages in conversion efficiency and ease of operation.This data format is suitable for projects that do not require the participation of other mapping software,and the models are modified and replaced repeatedly,which can greatly improve development efficiency.
