As one of the narrative motifs of science fiction, time has always been highlighted by writers. The sci-fi novels of Liu Wenyang and Cheng Jingbo break through the traditional time imagination mode, and try to explore the time itself as existence, displaying the literary value of time cycle narration. First of all, time cycle imagination not only updates human cognition, but also expresses human desire for time control. Secondly, the novels show their exploration of human nature through the characters, criticize the imprisonment of time to people through the cycle of time, and think about the dialectical relationship between man and technology.Thirdly, they ponder over the possibility of future civilization through time cycle narration. In their works, the value of time cycle is not only to let people discover the violence of time and the purpose of life, but also to provide more possibilities for the creation of science fiction in the future.
