As an important marine equipment in the ship design,filter is widely used in the fuel oil system,the lubricating oil system,the cooling water system and the compressed air system.The selection,arrangement,operation principle,advantages and disadvantages of the self-cleaning filter of the fuel system and the lubricating oil system are systematically analyzed and summarized,in order to provide some references for the selection and maintenance of the self-cleaning filter.
