Revision of the Chinese Version of Illegitimate Tasks Scale in Chinese Employees

摘要 目的:检验中文版不合规任务量表在中国员工样本中的信效度及跨性别测量等值性。方法:使用中文版不合规任务量表对贵州省、安徽省和江苏省的1133名员工进行测量,以工作愤怒、时间应激和工作满意度作为效标变量;4周后抽取78名被试实施重测。结果:中文版不合规任务量表包括不合理任务和不必要任务2个因子,共8个条目,量表结构与原量表一致;两因子及总量表的Cronbach’s α系数分别为0.79、0.86和0.85,重测信度分别为0.73、0.76和0.78;验证性因素分析结果显示:2因子模型拟合良好(χ^(2)/df=5.69,CFI=0.93,TLI=0.90,RMSEA=0.09,SRMR=0.04);不合规任务量表得分与工作愤怒、时间应激呈显著正相关,与工作满意度呈显著负相关;多组验证性因素分析结果显示不合规任务量表具有跨性别测量等值性。结论:中文版不合规任务量表在中国员工样本中的修订结果良好,各项指标达到心理测量学标准,可作为在中国背景下开展不合规任务相关研究的可靠工具。 Objective: To test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of Illegitimate Tasks Scale in Chinese employees and its measurement invariance across gender. Methods: A total of 1133 employees from Guizhou, Anhui and Jiangsu provinces were tested with the Chinese version of Illegitimate Tasks Scale. Job Anger Scale, Time Stress Scale and Overall Job Satisfaction were used as the criterion. After 4 weeks, 78 employees were re-tested. Results: The Chinese version of Illegitimate Tasks Scale included two factors, unreasonable tasks and unnecessary tasks, with 8 items in total. The Cronbach’s α coefficients of the two factors and the total scale were 0.79, 0.86 and 0.85, and the test-retest reliabilities were 0.73, 0.76 and 0.78 respectively. The confirmatory factor analysis results showed that the two-factor model fitted well(χ^(2)/df=5.69, CFI=0.93, TLI=0.90, RMSEA=0.09, SRMR=0.04). Illegitimate tasks Scale was positively correlated with work anger and time stress, and negatively correlated with job satisfaction. Measurement invariance across gender was acceptable. Conclusion: The psychometric indicators of the revised Chinese version of the Illegitimate Task Scale in the Chinese employees are good, and meet the acceptance standards, indicating that it can be used as a reliable tool to carry out research on illegitimate tasks in the Chinese context.
