Factors Affecting the Competitiveness of Guangzhou’s Industrial Economy during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan"

我国发展面临的国内外环境发生深刻复杂变化,对各地加快工业高质量发展提出了更高的要求,工业竞争力的影响因素引起了各级政府和学者的关注。因此应用SWOT分析法,对“十三五”时期影响广州工业经济竞争力的优势、劣势、机会和威胁进行客观分析,并对广州市提升未来工业竞争力提出若干对策。

During the 13th Five Year Plan period, Guangzhou achieved steady industrial and economic development by adjusting structure and enhancing competition power. Currently, the domestic and international environment facing China’s development has undergone profound and complex changes, which puts forward higher requirements for accelerating high-quality industrial development. The influencing factors of industrial competitiveness have attracted the attention of governments and scholars. Using SWOT analysis, this paper analyzes the advantages, disadvantages,opportunities and threats affecting Guangzhou’s industrial economic competitiveness during the 13th Five Year Plan period, and puts forward some countermeasures for Guangzhou to improve its industrial competitiveness in the future.
