以课程思政为导向的警务英语教学研究

Teaching Research on Police English Based on Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education

公安类院校是我国高等教育系统中的一类特殊高校,主要承担着为国家培养预备役警察的职责,而人民警察是党、国家和人民的忠诚卫士,因此有必要在公安类院校中加强课程思政建设。警务英语作为外语类课程的一种,在中西方文化沟通中能够很好地发挥桥梁作用。如何将课程思政元素如盐入水般地融入既具有语言性又具有专业性的警务英语课程教学,进而起到润物细无声的育人功能,是我们需要深入研究的问题。文章以课程思政为导向,对警务英语课程教学存在的问题进行了分析,并对警务英语课程思政的实现路径进行了有益的探索。

Public security colleges are of their own specialties in China’s higher education. They mainly undertake the responsibility of educating the would-be police force for the country. And the police are the loyal guards of our Party, country and people. Under this circumstance, the educational meaning and importance of curriculum-based ideological and political education in public security colleges can not be ignored. As one of the foreign language courses, Police English plays a good role as a bridge in the process of connecting Chinese and Western cultures. However, how to integrate curriculum-based ideological and political elements into the teaching of the Police English course, which contains both language knowledge and professional knowledge, is a subject worthy of our study. Guided by the curriculum-based ideological and political education concept, this paper analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of Police English course, and explores the path to the realization of curriculum-based ideological and political education.
