基于功能对等理论视角谈中国古代寓言故事的英译

C-E Translation of Ancient Chinese Fables from the Perspective of Functional Equivalence Theory

本文主要探讨用功能对等理论指导中国古代寓言故事的英译,简要梳理了功能对等理论的核心概念,分析了中国古代寓言中在翻译过程中存在的一些困难,最后提出一些切实的翻译方法,力求实现两种语言在表达效果上的对等或基本对等,使中国古代寓言故事的翻译更好地实现“讲好中国故事”。

This paper explores the Chinese-English translation of ancient Chinese fables from the perspective of functional equivalence theory,briefly analyzes the existing problems and suggestions for its translation,and brings about some translation methods to strive for the realization of the equivalence of the two languages in order to make the translation of ancient Chinese fables more idiomatic.
