New Study of the Historical Significance of Maritime Trade between Quanzhou and Koryo in the Northern Song Dynasty

10~11世纪是泉州海洋贸易发展的重要阶段,泉州商人在这一时期开始形成有规模的、主动的往海外从事贸易的行为。由于历史与当时形势等诸多原因,高丽成为其时泉州商人的主要目的地。勇敢的泉州海外贸易先行者们克服种种障碍,持续赴高丽贸易,不论是数量,还是影响力,在其时全国各个港口城市的赴高丽贸易中,都是首屈一指的。11世纪,在海洋贸易发展的重要阶段,泉州海商在赴高丽的贸易中积累了大量实践经验,获取巨额利润,从而在泉州社会形成巨大的影响,引导了大众对商业的认同,使贸易习俗得以巩固和发展,并逐步形成海商集团,甚至推动贸易制度的完善。这一切都为南宋至元代泉州辉煌的海外贸易打下了重要基础。

The 10th-11th century is an important stage of the development of Marine trade in Quanzhou.In this period,Quanzhou merchants began active engagement in overseas transactions in a largescale.For many reasons such as history and the situation at that time,Koryo became the main destination.The brave Quanzhou merchants overcame all kinds of obstacles and continued maritime trade with Koryo,which,compated to other port cities,was second to none in the tradewith Koryo,whether in number,or influence.In the 11th century,the important stage of the development of Marine trade,Quanzhou merchants accumulated a lot of practical experience through mritime trade with Koryo,and made huge profits,with much influence in Quanzhou society and the the public recognition of business,which consolidated and developed the trade custom leading to the emergence of a merchant group,and even the perfection of the trade system.All these laid an important foundation for the brilliant overseas trade of Quanzhou from the Southern Song Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty.
