On Mao Zedong’s New-Democratic Values

新民主主义时期,毛泽东在科学把握近代以来中国价值生成发展的基础上,在领导中国革命的过程中形成了以独立、自由、民主、统一和富强为主要内容的新民主主义价值观。这一价值观是党取得革命胜利的精神旗帜,也为新的历史时期培育和发展社会主义价值观提供了思想基础。进入新时代,中国共产党在理论上不断丰富价值观的内涵,在实践中努力践行价值观的理念,使得新民主主义价值观的价值和意义进一步彰显。

During the period of new-democratic revolution,Mao Zedong,based on his scientific grasp of generation and development of Chinese values since the modern times,formed the new-democratic values centered on independence,liberation,democracy,unity and prosperity while leading the Chinese revolution.These values are a spiritual flag for the Party to secure revolution victory,and an ideological basis for the cultivation and development of socialist values in a new historical period.Entering the new era,the Communist Party of China has enriched and developed the connotation of values in theory,practiced relevant concepts and further demonstrated the value and significance of new-democratic values.
