Historical Materials of The Encyclopedia play a unique role in the study of historical materials of ancient Chinese archival history.Through this study,It is clear that the characteristics and advantages of the preservation of archival historical materials in ancient chinese encyclopedias mainly include strong concentration,high guidance and high rarity.The article introduces some historical materials of classified books,and summarizes the application of historical materials of classified books in the study of archival history.It also points out that the content of some applied historical materials in the encyclopedia is incomplete and inaccurate,and the footnote information which made by researchers in the application process is incomplete or even wrong.It is hoped to help researchers find relevant historical materials of archival history more convenient and accurate.
