中美有关华为新闻报道的介入资源分析

Analysis of Engagement Resources in Chinese and American News Reports on Huawei

中美两大主流媒体中国日报网,美国有线电视新闻网代表两国各自的立场和态度,通过比较与华为有关的60篇新闻报道语料中介入资源的使用和分布情况,发现:中美新闻报道中包容资源和承认资源都占据较大比例。在压缩资源方面,中方新闻报道较为突出使用否定资源,直截了当否认、拒绝某一观点;而美方除了使用否认资源,反预期资源也占据不小比例,旨在突出强调部分信息。美国有线电视新闻网转述话语来源比中方新闻更多元,信息相对丰富,但这些引用的话语也主要是为了强化其立场和态度。

Chinadaily.com.cn and Cable News Network(CNN)are two major mainstream media that represents respective national positions and attitudes.This paper makes a comparison of the use and distribution of engagement resources in 60 news reports related to Huawei.It can be found that both entertain resources and acknowledge resources account for a large proportion of Chinese and American reports on Huawei.In terms of contract resources,Chinese reports prominently used deny resources to directly deny and reject opposing views.In addition to deny resources,CNN also employed many counter resources to highlight certain information.American CNN reports on Huawei cover more diverse external sources and provide richer information than Chinese reports,but these quoted discourses are mainly deployed to strengthen its positions and attitudes.
