On Sainsbury’s Display Theory

In the history of Western philosophy,the non-existence problem has always attracted much attention.With the vigorous development of contemporary cognitive science,the non-existence problem gradually presents a multi-disciplinary and multi-perspective research situation.Sainsbury put forward his display theory on the basis of intentionality theory,which expressed his unique thinking of the non-existent intention object.Sainsbury’s display theory takes psychological representation as the framework.By paying attention to the characteristics of representational objects of intention,it explains the semantic characteristics and connotation of intention state,thus enabling us to correctly attribute intention state.
