The Department of Law at the National Northwest University had the profound origination with the universities in Beijing,which went through the Peking Law School,the Peking Academy of Political Science and Law,National Beijing University of Political Science and Law,National Beijing University,National Northwest United University,the Department of Law at the National Northwest University.Among them,National Beijing University and the School of Law and Commerce at the National Northwest University established the Department of Law,the Department of Commerce,the Department of Politics and the Department of Economy.Usually,the President of the School of Law and Commerce were well-known jurists,but the Dean of the Department of Law were definitely one of the well-known jurists.For the National Beijing University,National Northwest United University,the Department of Law at the National Northwest University,the Department of Law was established in large scale and a renown teaching faculty.The professors and scholars at the Department of Law at the National Northwest University had the spirit of patriotism and progress,hard work,self-improvement,and scientific tolerance,which is worthy of inheritance and promotion by later generations of scholars.The legal education of the National Northwest University emphasizes equal emphasis on theory and practice,combination of arts and science,patriotic progress,and practical teaching.These school-running concepts are very enlightening for us to further promote the discipline of law in contemporary society.
