高校图书馆学科化服务方式探究——以英语学科为例

随着网络化、数字化信息技术迅猛发展,用户信息需求、学习行为发生了变化,要求高校图书馆要从用户需求的个性化和学科化出发,将服务与用户的学习融为一体,提供学科化服务。满足用户的学科化需求,是新时代高校图书馆各项工作的归宿。英语作为一门国际通用语言,发挥着日益重要的作用。当前社会对大学生的英语水平提出了更高的要求,高校图书馆作为大学的重要职能部门,对英语学习者的服务方式也面临了挑战。就高校而言,英语学科专业建设是学校建设的重要组成部分,学科化需求成为英语学习者需求的显著特征。为了更好地促进自身的发展,高校图书馆应该以学习者的需求为导向,调动和合理配置相关资源,有针对性地为英语学习者提供学科化服务。该文先简单阐述新时代背景下高校图书馆学科化服务创新,其次以英语学科为例对图书馆学科化服务的方式进行深入探讨,最后该文针对图书馆在英语学科方面开展学科化服务的现状提出几点建议。

With the rapid development of network and digital information technology, users’ information needs and learning behavior have changed. It is required that university libraries should start from the personalization and discipline of users’ needs, integrate service and users’ learning, and provide discipline services. Meeting the disciplinary needs of users is the end result of all work of University Library in the new era. As an international language, English is playing an increasingly important role. At present, the society puts forward higher requirements for college students’ English level. As an important functional department of the University, the service mode of University Library for English learners is also facing challenges. As far as colleges and universities are concerned, English discipline construction is an important part of school construction, and discipline demand has become a significant feature of English learners’ demand. In order to better promote their own development, university libraries should be guided by the needs of learners, mobilize and reasonably allocate relevant resources, and provide disciplinary services for English learners. This paper first briefly expounds the subject service innovation of University Library under the background of the new era, then makes an in-depth discussion on the way of library subject service by taking English as an example, and finally puts forward some suggestions for the current situation of Library Subject Service in English.
