近年来,中国文艺作品越来越多地运用叙述跨层与回旋跨层手法,令作品呈现奇幻、悬疑等特色。回旋跨层是自指悖论的一种形式,它将叙述层与被叙述层融为一体,打破了因果关系和线性的时间流逝。在近期中国影视作品里,回旋跨层出现日益复杂化的趋势。根据不同分类标准,这些回旋跨层可被分为整体回旋和个体回旋、完全回旋和不完全回旋、单次回旋和缠绕回旋等几种类型。打破回旋的怪圈需要寻找高一层级以及内部的突破动力。
