Breeding and Application of the New Geng Rice Variety Sidao No.22with High Quality and High-yielding Ability and Suitable for Simplified Cultivation Mode

泗稻22号参试名称为泗稻18158,是由江苏省农业科学院宿迁农科所采用系谱法以武运粳27号为母本、自育品系13品90为父本杂交培育而成的粳稻新品种。经多年多点试验表明:泗稻22号平均产量为696.70 kg/667 m^(2),比对照组(徐稻3号)增产6.7%,中抗稻瘟病,抗条纹叶枯病,米质检测达部优二级,具有米质优、产量高、抗病性较强等优点。2021年通过国家农作物品种审定委员会审定命名,审定编号为国审稻20210419。

Sidao No.22 is a new Geng rice variety bred in Suqian Institute of Agricultural Sciences,Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences,using Wuyungeng No.27 as the maternal parent and a self-breeding line as the paternal parent.It had been tested in regional trials under the name of Sidao18158.In many years of multi-sitefield trials,this variety attained an average yield of 696.70 kg/667 m^(2),6.7%higher than that of the control rice variety Xudao No.3.Moreover,Sidao No.22 was shown to have moderate resistance to rice blast and stripe leaf blight,and its grain quality meets the second-grade standards set by the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.In conclusion,Sidao No.22 has the desirable traits of high quality,high-yielding ability,and relatively strong disease resistance.In 2019,it was approved and named by the National Crop Variety Appraisal Committee,with the approval number20210419.
