Cecal coccidiosis is a parasitic disease in the digestive tract of chickens,with a high incidence.After the disease,chickens will show symptoms such as fecal atherosclerosis,poor mental state of chickens,body temperature drop,muscle spasm and other symptoms,which will lead to severe dehydration and death of chickens.Due to the decreased resistance of sick chickens,it is easy to induce the occurrence of other infectious diseases,which poses a serious threat to the growth and development of chickens and causes serious economic losses.If the treatment is not timely,even if the chickens recover to health,they will show stunted growth,growth retardation or stop growing,resulting in higher feed returns and higher breeding costs.Chicken cecal coccidiosis occurs frequently in chicks aged from 12 to 50 days,and the mortality rate is up to 80%.The epidemiological characteristics,clinical manifestations and pathological changes of chicken cecal coccidiosis were briefly introduced,and the prevention and treatment measures were put forward.
