狭义语法化在翻译过程中的解释力——以《聊斋志异》英译本为例

The Explanatory Power of Narrow Grammaticalization in the Process of Translation——Illustrated with English Version of Liaozhaizhiyi

语法化理论是语法研究的一个热点,在理论研究上引发了广泛而深入的探讨。研究表明:狭义语法化与语义虚化以古汉语中副词与助动词的翻译最为显著,突出体现于转化式虚化、省略式虚化、关联式虚化。因此,狭义语法化理论对翻译过程具有解释力。在此基础上,从语法化的理论机制入手,结合《聊斋志异》的翻译,并提供一定的分析理据,进一步探讨认知方式对翻译语言形式差异的影响,有望为语法化理论及翻译理论研究提供新的理论视角。

The theory of grammaticalization is a hot topic in the study of grammar,which has aroused extensive and in-depth discussion.Research shows that the narrow grammaticalization are most prominent in the translation of adverbs and auxiliary verbs in ancient China,which embodied in transformative grammaticalization,elliptical grammaticalization and associative grammaticalization.Therefore,grammaticalization theory has an explanatory power for the translation process.On this basis,starting from the theoretical mechanism of grammaticalization,combining the translation of Liaozhaizhiyi and providing certain analytical justifications to further explore the influence of cognitive styles on the differences of translated linguistic forms,it is expected to convey new theoretical perspectives for the study of grammaticalization theory and translation theory.
